Key Responsibilities:

MAPPING

- Prepare data related to maps / GIS (Geography Information System), such as existing

road, villages, grid transmission line / substation, land parcel maps, etc.

- Produce maps for project design, project application / permitting to authorities, internal

communications, etc

Support colleagues and local GIS staff in case of support needed (analysis of complex case, land / cadastral mapping) including  providing training or even going on site for verification / discussion with local GIS/Cadastral contractor 

 WIND ENGINEERING

- Monitor and analyse data coming from company’s wind monitoring towers (masts) in SE Asia

- Manage and monitor contractors to install and commission wind measurement equipment

- Run wind resource analysis and energy assessment using industry standard software

- Design and optimize wind farm layout compliant with site restrictions and conditions

- Provide site reporting and inputs for project management and tendering processes

- Assist our local development teams

TRAVELLING

 - Some travels (occasional, depending on project stage) to company’s sites in Southeast Asia to verify wind turbine locations and site conditions on the ground, supervise and commission wind measurement equipment, etc.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree

  • Major: Engineering (Mechanical /Civil / Environmental) or Earth Science / Geography

 

Years of Experience Required:

·         Fresh graduates are welcome

·         Training will be provided

 

Essential Skills and Requirements:

·         Proficient in Microsoft Excel

·         Ease with the use of complex Softwares

·         Good command in both oral and written English Knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS, Qgis) to create maps for local development team

·         Interpersonal and team player, as the job requires interfacing with team members from different offices and cultural background.

·         Self-starter

·         Detail oriented

·         Fast learner and keen to be exposed to new / different environments

·         Immediate availability is a plus
